Hope for Living Our Best Life

June 12, 2020

Clients and Friends

Is there hope for our world as we confront the seeming chaos around us? Last January I began a series of classes on ‘Living Your Best Life’ which focused on identifying and learning to express in daily life the qualities of what I call ‘soul’. These character qualities such as integrity, compassion, inclusiveness and joy among many others must first be consciously experienced within us before we can express them outwardly. (“the relationship we have to anything outside ourselves reflects the relationship we have with our self”). To recognize the underlying unity in all life means I must first recognize the fact that I am not separate from that life, that we are all connected both to each other and to the natural world around us. We are interdependent!

Considering the challenges of the national and global crises emerging into greater public awareness these past few months and the systemic social ills we are confronting and the personal challenges to our health and livelihoods, I invite you to consider the question I posed in an earlier post: WHAT COMES NEXT? How am I to respond to all this as I struggle with my own life challenges? What can I do? What can one person do for the healing of the world?

By aligning with our hearts through breathing (which is an open door to our soul) and generating the feeling of gratitude and joy (by perhaps remembering a joyful experience) and then sending that love (using the power of our imagination) out to our families and friends and then to the whole world, we not only integrate the coherence of love into our bodies to support our personal health, we have offered that love and gratitude to all, and begun to recognize the inherent deeper connection we all share. Some might call this ‘prayer’, with the only difference being that we consciously connect to the physical experience of our body and breath to activate the coherent frequencies of our hearts which supports the neurological balance between heart and brain (our personal healing). When done as a group as we have been doing each Friday, this experience becomes even more potent. I have gotten feedback from several participants of personal healing from this experience. The hope for our world lies within us, and our willingness to commit to our own self-healing through greater self-awareness, and then to LIVE the change we have embraced within ourselves.

If you are feeling a bit overwhelmed or stressed by life and the outer events happening during this unique time, please consider joining us this and each Friday for a Community Settling experience. If you are interested please register here (via email) and you will receive instructions on how to join the session. If you are unable to join personally, consider listening to the settling posted in the self-help section of my website as a way to support your own self-healing.

Following the governor’s “Responsible Restart Ohio” plan, I have opened my office and am now available for sessions using the updated protocols found on my website. If you are not comfortable with rescheduling, please know that I fully support you and encourage you to reach a place of trust and confidence within yourself before you do.

For those who need additional personal support, I am continuing to offer individual phone/remote sessions. For more information and to check out what other people are saying, please read about it here, and contact me to schedule an appointment.

May we all be guided by the wisdom of our hearts and find support in our shared experience.
